Synopsis :
Wonderful Life is the story of two young college students (played by Kim Jae-won and Yoo Jin) who went on one-night stand during their vacation in Singapore and ended up become parents. They then goes on contractual marriage to raise their daughter Han Shin Bi (played by Jeong Da Bin).

These young and inexperienced pare
nts will show you what true love really means and how they become more mature
by overcoming life's difficulties together and how they complete their love.

My comment :

Starting from the last four episodes till the end, i cried alot. These were when Shin Bi fall sick and her parents were trying to cheer her up to be more stronger in fighting her disease. All methods to cheer her up were sought after. I cried too much till my eyes were swollen.

From this drama, moral of the story ; a child or children
in the family could really strengthen the bond in the families be it the bond between parents, between parents and grandparents or between distance relatives.

Btw, Shin Bi(played by Jeong Da Bin) is really so so adorable!

Outcome of the "Over the weekend crocs sales"

Gee...As a result of the recent crocs sales which was held from 14-16Nov '08, some of my colleagues had gone "crazy".

One of my female colleagues spent in total $650 of shoes and apparels.

And another bought too many sandals that she wore one on her feet and had with her another two pairs of different design in her bag that she carries everywhere she goes.

I did ask her why is she carrying two more crocs sandals in her bag. Her reply; i plan to change into three different pairs in one day. OMG! What has the sales turn my colleagues into????? Isn't sales supposed to make us save $ instead of wasting $ unneccessarily?

Crocs for sales!

Where : Spore Expo - Hall 4
When : 14-16 Nov 2008
Event : Crocs Sales

As usual, its nearing the end of the year. That means there will be so many year-end sales. I'm not a person who likes shopping at all unless shopping for gifts or my basic necessities. But this sales is something that i will wanna go and i went. I don't regret going cos i had lotsa fun looking for my items, queuing and paying for the merchandise despite the crowds.

Photobucket

Its the crocs sales! Held over the weekends starting from yesterday, Friday the 14th till tomorrow Sunday the 16th, i went today. Sales started from 10am till 8pm. Heard from colleagues and friends that went yesterday; its already jam packed when they reached the event hall at 11am despite being a weekday.

I was reluctant to go cos i really hate crowds but heard that the sales was up to 80% discount, i was so tempted. Finally, last minute at 5.30pm my sis said "Let's go kak. I will queue up and you go look for your items". Cos she knows that i liked crocs merchandise so much.

When i reached Expo it was already 6.30pm. OMG! It was such a long queue inside the event hall with people queuing to make payment. Since i'm already there, i went in and started to look for the four items that i have in mind - "Off-road", jibbitz, "Malindi" and "Islander". There wasn't any "Malindi" and "Islander" for sales. Found my "Off-road" shoes with the colour that i liked. There, i fell in love with "Scutes" but it ran out of stock for my size and the colour that i liked. Tried to look around but couldn't find my jibbitz.

There's so many other items on sales...apparels, caps, socks, T-shirts, bags, shoes, sandals and jibbitz. All you have to do is find a spot near the display set and start looking for your model of shoes/sandals that you fancy, choose the colour and ask the salesperson for your size. As i came late, i see that the sizes thats available are 4,5,10,11,12 for most of the shoes/sandals.

I was disappointed cos i only have one pair of shoes and having to queue such a long queue, i sms my sis who was in the queue to abandon the mission and go home. But she said "Its ok. You stand in the queue and i go look for any items that I might like". She found two long sleeved shirts which cost 2 pieces for $16. What a great deal!

The best part i must say is queuing to make payment. Along the queue lines, i saw so many merchandised being abandoned. So many patrons in the queue lines keep trying out all the abandoned shoes and get hold of those that they fancy and of their size. Guez what? i found a shoe that interests me - "Hydro"! It was my luck that the abandoned pair is my size and its black in colour. I quickly grab it and placed it in my shopping bag. Gee...its my day!

Along the queue lines i keep a look out for any other sandals that could interest me, and was also looking for the jibbitz. I couldn't find any jibbitz when i did my rounding earlier. Then...THE JIBBITZ! There on the floor were three packets of jibbitz, with 5 jibbitz in each packets. 2 of the packets i liked the design and grab it! Usual price $3-$7 per jibbitz, now $1 per jibbitz! But the design are pre-pack so you just chose any packs with the most design that you liked best.

Entered 6.30pm, i left the event hall at 8.50pm.

What I paid for :

  1. "Hydro" - S$20 u.p S$79.95
  2. "Off-road" - S$25 u.p S$64.95
  3. 10pcs of S$1/jibbitz u.p S$3-7/jibbitz

I must say i love crocs shopping! My advice is to go mega sales shoppings with friends or family members. They make your shopping more fun and enjoyable. Like myself, i enjoyed todays shopping despite hating crowds so much. :-)

Tankiu both sista. U girls gerek! Lets go mega-sale shopping again sometimes...Buekkkss! :-P

Genting Highlands

Where : Pahang, Malaysia
Place : Genting Highlands
When : 5th - 7th Nov '08

Photobucket

I'm still confused where to go for my hotel check-in when i reached Genting. The other time i came, i was directed to a room for "Tour Group check-in". This time i checked in at the main lobby of First World Hotel. My advice is; better to ask the security personnel where u should check-in before you start queueing for the queue number.

Better than my last visit, this visit recorded temperature to be 17-18deg C. Previously the weather here is hot that wearing a thin layer of clothing is sufficient to make me comfortable walking around Genting. (My last visit was Feb this year).

Tried the rides indoor and outdoor. I guez age is catching up on me that rides which i could take previously with no problem, my heart couldn't take it anymore.

This panel shows which of the games thats in operation for the day

Riding on the corkscrew and cyclone, i can feel my heart almost fall out. Esp during the downride. Basically these two are roller coaster rides.

This ride (Space Shot) is close for maintenance. Never been on it before, and I dont even wanna think wanting to try this game. :-)

Try taking the sky way cable car if you have not ride on one. The cable car ride here is long and fast. And its not too expensive unlike the cable car ride in Spore.

Look at the mist. I can't even see the cable car in front of mine.

Despite being a cold weather is Genting, the sun still shines. And even tho the sun is up, the temperature is still cold.

For those who wish to buy some souveniors back home, drop by at Level 8 and you will be greeted with so many shops selling all sorts of items ranging from keychain, bags, purse, handphone chain, T-shirts and many more.

These shops are categories under "country" themes i.e shops selling items from India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Spore, Korea, Japan, Middle East. I bought some from Vietnam and Korea.
