SLR in my palm, mind went blank! Where can i go today to start snapping photos with my new gadget? Its been raining since morning. Oh no...am i gonna be stuck at home doing nothing but listen to the rain drops? Think! Think!

hmmm....lets see...Why not i go visit places thats near my home? hmmm...

Pasir Ris Park mangrove! I've not once been there but for so long i have always wanted to visit the place. It was said from an article that i read that the mangrove was only 5mins walk from Pasir Ris MRT station. So, thats it!

So i suggested to my siblings to visit the Pasir Ris mangrove. My 2nd brother insist not going cos of the rain. But my other two sisters were very supportive as I have told them earlier that I wanted to play around with my new gadget.

It was 2.10pm when we reached Pasir Ris MRT. Looking around from the bus interchange, we can't find any signage to indicate the direction to the mangrove. We then proceed to look at the map of the neighbouring area surrounding the bus interchange. We saw "Pasir Ris Park" on the map. But there's no indication for mangrove area.

We decided to just walk into the park and find out where's the mangrove, thinking that the mangrove couldn't be so far away from the park.

True enough when we read the map of the Pasir Ris Park, we saw the mangrove indication. So thereafter we just follow thru the broadwalk and start snapping photos.

Having these broadwalk makes my walking and enjoying the nature, a comfortable experience

After a long tiring walk, you can take a rest at one of these benches (its found all over the park) or rest in one of these cool close-to-the-nature hideout.

Can u see that one of the hideout had a tent pitched in it? The park visitor is protecting himself from the rain cos its now a rainy season.
