Self marinated BBQ sauce If u wanna do camping on a weekday, u need to have a permit. No permit is required for a weekends and PHs camping. Park rangers will be doing his rounding to ensure that valid permit are given out to the set up tents. For issual of permits, its as easy as pitching up ur tent and the park rangers will approach u to scan ur IC. Once scanning is completed, a slip will be issued to u, and u need to attached it to ur tent. Scanning of IC done on daily basis. During school holiday period, u can see that the beach is so packed with campers and it feels like there's party going around on most parts of the beach. But these are seen mostly on area where the BBQ pits are. Towards the end of the beach, u can see another "world" of campers. These are those of private and quiet campers who pitch their tent for more privacy and quieter atmosphere. But still enjoying the sounds of waves, the smell of sea and the amazing sunset and sunrise. Sunset Sunrise Try to come early during school hols (esp weekends camping) i.e before evening 5pm to get a very good spot if u wish to pitch a tent cos during sch hols, there's too many campers. U'll end up getting spot too far away from the toilet if u're late. There's only one toilet in the park. Beside urinal purposes, there's shower facilities inside the toilet as well as outside the toilet. There's also a small shop in front of the toilet; selling drinks, titbits, soap, shampoo and etc. Toilet usage is free of charge. If u and ur family planned to camp for a few days and wants more than just what Changi Beach could offer, u can visit Pulau Ubin (the island just opposite Changi Beach) during the day, and return back to ur tent in the evening. But dont forget to bring all ur valuables. Labels: BBQ, beach, camping, changi, local, sun
