Short visit to Sungei Buloh Wetland

I have always miss going to Sungei Buloh Wetland. But despite asking around many times who's interested to visit this place, the answer is still the same; "hmmm, don't want". So i have decided to visit it alone.

Work finished at 3pm. Changing to my outing attire, a friend asked where am i going? Sungei Buloh is my reply. To my surprised, my friend said " If you don't mind, can i tag along?". Ohh...not that im happy that i have a companion at the last minute,but im in deep thoughts and wonders...why would she who have no interest in nature wanna tag along? Nevertheless, im okay with any friends tagging along with me to anywhere. So, i said yes.

The wait for the bus to bring us to the wetland lasted for 30 minutes. The weather was sunny, but as we are approaching the destination, dark clouds gloom over the sky. Issit going to rain soon? I don't care. Rain or shine, I will still walk in the reserve. keke

The Bus Service 925 drop us at the entrance of the wetland. When we reached there, it was already 1650hrs. Admission to the wetland on Sunday is S$1.

For your info, Bus Service 925 will only drop you to the wetland entrance on a Sunday and Public Holidays. On any other day, you have to walk 15minutes from the bus stop near Kranji Reservoir Carpark.

While in the reserve, here's the Do's and the Don'ts

Mangrove Broadwalk is my fav bcos i love to see mudskipper.

While in the reserve, its best to be more quiet. Listen more and talk less.

Reserve closes at 1900hrs. The last admission ticket will be sold at 1800hrs. Here's a schedules of the bus service 925 from the reserve. Don't ever miss the bus bcos the walk is a long walk out.
